Stefanie Steger

The south tyrolian (Italy) soprano Stefanie Steger was since her early childhood comitted to music.

In 2006 she started her singing diploma at the Landeskonservatorium in Tyrol with Dr. h.c. Barbara Daniels. While the same time studying vocal teaching at the Mozarteum Salzburgs outpost in Innsbruck.

In the summer term 2011 she completed both studies, passed her final exams and achieved the highest marks.

She has done masterclasses and workshops with Prof. Henriette Meyer-Ravenstein, Prof. Lucile Villeveuve-Evans (Canada) and Kammersängerin Brigitte Fassbänder.

In October 2011 Stefanie Steger began her Masters with Elisabeth Wilke and Wolfgang Holzmair (Lied and Oratorio) at the Mozarteum Salzburg.

She worked as a guest in the opera class and also worked together with some important names in baroque music such as Hiro Kurosaki, Dorothee Oberlinger, Andrea Marcon and Florian Birsak.

Stefanie regularly performes in Austria and Italy.
