Predrag Katanic

Katanic Predrag was born in Serbia. He studied with Professor Thomas Riebl at the Mozarteum University, Salzburg. He graduated with distinction and was awarded a special prize from the Austrian Federal Ministry for Education, Arts and Culture for the best diploma concert in Austria. He attended masterclasses with Tabea Zimmermann, Nobuko Imai and Thomas Riebl.

He was a member of the Camerata Salzburg, where he was working with Leonidas Kavakos, Anne Sophie Mutter, Yuri Bashmet, Sir Roger Norrington, and Franz Welser Möst, among others.

Predrag Katanic was teaching assistant to Professor Thomas Riebl at the Mozarteum University and visiting professor at the International Music Seminar in Prussia Cove, England. He was a tutor at the Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester. He currently teaches at the Bruckner University Linz, Austria.

He is regularly invited to hold Master classes in Austria, Germany, Portugal, Japan and South Africa.

Predrag Katanic is a member of the Stadler Quartet.
