Aco Bišćević

Aco Bišćević studied at the Ljubljana Academy of Music where he received the Prešeren Award, the highest honour for a student He completed his training as a singer at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg in the class of Professor Horiana Branisteanu and is continuing harpsichord studies with Professor Wolfgang Brunner. He has performed as a vocalist under Jori Saval, Reinhard Goebel and many others. He has been chosen to sing with the Arnold Schoenberg Chor (under Nikolaus Harnonocourt, Claudio Abaddo, Erwin Ortner) and Salzburger Bachchor (under Marc Minkowsky, Ivor Bolton). He directs the Aeternum Chamber Choir which predominantly performs works from the Baroque and Classical periods. He is the recepient of the award for "most promising Slovene choral conductor" (Naša pesem choir competition).
